Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce arrives before Super Bowl LVII against the Philadelphia Eagles at State Farm Stadium on Feb. 12, 2023, in Glendale, Ariz. Nfl Super Bowl Lvii Kansas City Chiefs Vs Philadelphia Eagles

The Kansas City Chiefs were able to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII, in large part thanks to an impressive performance when it mattered most from star tight end Travis Kelce. Winning his second Super Bowl championship is obviously a huge accomplishment for Kelce, which has seemingly set up another awesome accomplishment for him in the entertainment industry.

Kelce went on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, where he revealed that he will be hosting Saturday Night Live on March 4th.

Kelce detailed that this is something that he is super excited about because he and his mother used to watch SNL while he was growing up.

“Growing up I was a huge (Chris) Farley, (Will) Ferrell, and (Jimmy) Fallon kind of guy. I used to watch Saturday Night Live with my mother. It is an absolute honor and a privilege to be hosting SNL on March 4th.”

While it seems like Kelce will be a natural on SNL, he did add that he was so nervous about hosting the show in March.

Alongside him on March 4th will be musical guest Kelsey Ballerini, who is a Country Pop singer. Kelce certainly has one of the most engaging personalities among NFL players, and many appear to be very excited about this announcement.

Despite recently being blasted for his laughable claim that the Chiefs were “underdogs” this season, Travis Kelce is a player that is beloved by the majority of NFL fans, which should make for an extremely entertaining show on March 4th.
