After throwing for 32 touchdowns (vs 8 interceptions), an NFL-best 4,577 yards, putting together a 102.8 passer rating, and leading the Patriots to a 13-3 record, Tom Brady is the favorite to win the NFL MVP award.
The winner of the award won’t be announced until Saturday night in Minnesota, but it appears Brady is very confident in his chances. Or knows something we don’t. Or is just planning ahead at the possibility with a very busy Super Bowl week.
Whatever the case, Brady has already written his MVP award acceptance speech. We know this because Brad E. Schlossman of the Grand Forks Herald tweeted a photo of someone carrying Brady’s acceptance speech Thursday night in Minnesota.

Let’s try to transcribe what’s in that photo!
I’m humbled and honored to be recognized as this year’s recipient of the Associated Press MVP award.
In a sport like football, you really cannot take credit for an award without recognizing the countless contributions of your teammates who are responsible for all of the successes you’ve experienced. I’m fortunate to play for an organization that features the greatest owners in Robert and Jonathan Kraft, as well as outstanding leadership and guidance from Bill Belichick and the rest of the Patriots’ coaching staff.
Something like that.
You can see it for yourself Saturday night on NBC, but there are probably better ways to spend a Saturday night.
