The seven-time Super Bowl champ is returning for the kickoff of the 2025-2026 NFL season. Now a spectator from off the field, Tom looks to use his football knowledge in the comfort of a Fox broadcasting box. However, with new endeavors come new responsibilities and restrictions for the retired quarterback.

Brady joined the Fox team, signing a “10-year 375 million dollar contract that he originally agreed to back in 2022,” according to ESPN.

With the start of this year’s season right around the corner, Brady will be returning to Fox for the second year of his contract. In 2024, Brady became a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, creating concerns among NFL owners and a potential conflict of interest.

As of today, “The NFL will allow Tom Brady — FOX’s lead analyst and a minority owner of the #Raiders— to take part in production meetings with coaches and teams this season. Brady was banned from doing so last year (aside from the Super Bowl). He’s still not expected to be allowed at team practices,” stated senior writer Andrew Marchand of The Athletic.

“It would be believed that Brady might also see his practice ban lifted next season, though that is just speculation. For now, the arguably greatest football player of all time can assume a much more involved ownership role with the Raiders,” writes James Brizuela of Newsweek.

Fans react via Twitter

“Changing the rules for Brady… again,” one person posted.

“Even retired, Brady still finds ways to be in the game. From QB to analyst to minority owner — he’s rewriting post-career playbooks. The NFL can’t quit Brady, and honestly, neither can we,” someone else added.

It’ll be interesting to follow Brady in all of his post-career ventures.
