The Tennessee Titans notched a big victory on Thursday night, defeating the Green Bay Packers by a score of 27-17 after totaling a season-best 408 yards in the win. It was a stellar victory for the team, but following the game, it looks like Titans offensive coordinator Todd Downing might have been celebrating a little too much.

According to a report from ESPN, Todd Downing was pulled over for driving under the influence and for speeding early Friday morning after the game and was ultimately arrested and charged.

“Downing went through the intake process at 4:36 a.m. and posted bail at 6:46 a.m. The Titans had returned to Nashville early Friday morning after their 27-17 win over the Green Bay Packers,” ESPN wrote on Friday.

Downing’s arrest is particularly concerning, given that the Titans actually have a team policy to keep this exact thing from happening.

“The Titans get free Lyft rides as an organization. Zero excuse for driving under the influence. Glad no one was hurt in all of this,” Titans radio personality Buck Reising pointed out on Twitter.

Reising wasn’t the only one to absolutely blast Downing for his irresponsible actions as the NFL world had plenty to say about it on Twitter.

The team did not immediately make a statement regarding Downing’s arrest.
