While the Titans are committed to Ryan Tannehill as their quarterback, other teams in the NFL don’t believe that to be the case.

There’s a new regime in Tennessee, but Mike Vrabel was still the head coach when the team elected to make a move for Malik Willis during last year’s NFL Draft. The Titans have reportedly been sniffing around quarterbacks in the 2023 NFL Draft and perhaps could make a move for one later this week.

According to a report from ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler, several teams around the league believe that Tannehill could be had in a trade. Obviously, Tennessee would need to have his replacement in place, which begs the question of which quarterback they could possibly target with the 11th pick, or trade up for.

“Teams I talk to do believe that Tannehill could be, or is, available via trade,” Fowler said during a recent SportsCenter appearance via Bleacher Report. “He’s got a $36 million cap hit. New GM Ran Carthon is resetting this roster in a big way, they’re making some moves. And so, right now they would need a replacement though, they would need somebody in place.

“So, do they draft one? I’ve talked to some teams who believe that the Titans are looking at moving up or even moving back from No. 11 because they have a lot of needs to fill. So, it’s not all about the quarterback position. So, at least Ryan Tannehill is comfort food, he is available, and they know what to expect.”

This is a huge development, as the Titans seemed to be dug in with Tannehill as their starter going forward. The NFL world reacted to the insane Titans quarterback news on social media:
