If anyone wondered if Taylor Swift would make it to Super Bowl LVIII in time to see boyfriend Travis Kelce play, their prayers were answered.
Swift was spotted in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl and she wasn’t alone. She was accompanied by rapper Ice Spice and actress Blake Lively, who is the wife of Ryan Reynolds.
Swift’s flight from Japan, where she is on the second leg of her Eras tour, was tracked by media outlets as they wondered if she would make it in time. It was a 12-hour flight, but she got there just fine.
As many already know, Swift and Kelce have been seeing each other throughout this NFL season and, while some credited her for bringing more fans to the game, others have seen her as more of a distraction than a help to her boyfriend.
Sports media figures like Skip Bayless and the NFL Today’s Boomer Esiason think Swift may be a huge distraction for Kelce, especially in the Kansas City Chiefs’ biggest game of the year.
However, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid doesn’t see it that way. He says Swift has been anything but a distraction.
“It hasn’t been a distraction, so there haven’t been any distractions,” Read said during an interview on SiriusXM NFL Radio. “She’s a good girl and she loves the game and obviously loves Kelce, so I’m happy for both of them.”
And Swift being at his games hasn’t affected Kelece’s play at all, in fact, it seems like he plays better when she is there. We will see if her magic touch continues during the Super Bowl.
