Yesterday, it was teased and revealed by Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer that Rams center Brian Allen became the first NFL player to test positive for COVID-19. It sadly didn’t take long for a second player to test positive and it’s a top NFL star.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller tested positive for COVID-19 and will go public with his diagnosis on Friday. The Denver Broncos linebacker is reportedly “at home resting and in good spirits” according to his agent.
Miller has played nine seasons in the NFL, all with the Broncos. In those nine seasons, he has made the Pro Bowl eight times and was a First Team or Second Team All-Pro seven times. Miller will probably explain more about what’s going on with him. but Rapoport’s report sounds like Miller’s situation is as optimistic as can be in that situation. Here’s to continuing the positive vibes.
UPDATE: The Denver Broncos released a statement on Von Miller testing positive for COVID-19.
