Shannon Sharpe is not the only person who was upset with Skip Bayless after he tweeted a tone-deaf response Monday after Damar Hamlin was injured on the field.
Bayless questioned if the NFL should continue the while Hamil was still on the field.
“No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how?” Bayless tweeted as medical personnel worked on Hamlin who was still on the field in Cincinnati. “This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant.”
Sharpe even thought that Bayless should have taken down the tweet, which he refused. Current and former athletes want Bayless fired from Undisputed and have made their feelings known on social media.
Bayless doubling down on his tweet and interrupting Sharpe during his opening on Wednesday’s show didn’t help his cause either. Bayless insisted that no one had a problem with what he said, but Sharpe begged to differ on the situation and called his partner out.
But clearly, a lot of people think that Bayless who has a long history of trolling athletes like LeBron James has gone too far with this latest incident and needs to be gone.
