The Seattle Seahawks and All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner have reunited.
Wagner, who the Seahawks released before the 2022 season, re-joins the team after one season with the division-rival Los Angeles Rams.
Seahawks defensive back Quandre Diggs first reported the news, actually!
“According to my sources, future Hall of Famer LB Bobby Wagner has agreed to terms to return home to the Seattle Seahawks,” Diggs tweeted.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported the terms on the deal. It’ll be one year, $7 million for the star linebacker.
Wagner accomplished so much in his previous tenure with Seattle. He helped anchor a defense that destroyed the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII. He’s earned nine All-Pro selections – six First-Team, three Second-Team – and eight Pro Bowl selections. A member of the NFL’s All-Decade team for the 2010s, he’s one of the best linebackers of this era.
Now he’ll return back to Seattle, the team that drafted him in their star-studded 2012 Draft class. That class featured Wagner, Russell Wilson, Bruce Irvin, Robert Turbin, and Jeremy Lane, all of whom significantly contributed to the Super Bowl teams.
The NFL world reacted to the big Seahawks news.
“INSIDER QUANDRE,” ESPN personality Mina Kimes tweeted.

Steve Wyche tweeted, “Insider skills be like….” along with a Matthew McConaughey GIF saying, “BINGO!”
One Seahawks fan considered Diggs the “Best recruiter in the game right now.”
Cameron Derby said that “stations everywhere” would offer Quandre a job post-football for his news-breaking skills.
