Last week, Tennessee Titans veteran quarterback Ryan Tannehill had a pretty brutal start to the season, throwing three interceptions and completing less than 50 percent of his passes in a 16-15 loss to the New Orleans Saints. But it’s safe to say that he bounced back this week, sending a clear message to anyone who thought he couldn’t still be an effective NFL quarterback.
During Sunday afternoon’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers, Ryan Tannehill led the team to victory by going 20 for 24 through the air for 246 yards and a touchdown while also using his legs to get a touchdown on the ground.
It was a strong performance from Tannehill that sent a message to any of his doubters, and he had some pretty bold words after the game.
“I knew last week wasn’t who I am as a player,” Tannehill said according to Nick Suss of the Tennessean. “I knew I was going to bounce back this week. But it’s nice to feel that support from your teammates throughout the week.”
While that was certainly a great game from Tannehill that led to the win, it’s safe to say that the Titans would like to see consistency from their quarterback this season.
