The U.S. west coast is currently being slammed by a “bomb cyclone,” and that’s affected the Sunday Night Football game between the San Francisco 49ers (who currently play in Santa Clara, CA) and the visiting Indianapolis Colts. In particular, the 49ers’ fans’ tailgate saw some port-o-potties blown away:
The weather also led to issues for visiting media trying to get to the game, as illustrated by Colts’ beat writer Zak Keefer of The Athletic:
There were still plenty of fans who showed up to tailgate despite the weather, and there were still plenty of fans who made it to the game. But the weather here was certainly notable, and it definitely affected pre-game preparations. We’ll see what, if any, impact it has on the game itself.
