Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb left Monday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a leg injury early in the second quarter.

Chubb was tackled by Pittsburgh’s Minkah Fitzpatrick who was also shaken up on the play.

The injury was graphic enough that ESPN didn’t show a replay, and Chubb was carted off the field.

Almost immediately, people from all over the sports world sent Chubb well wishes and expressed sadness over the injury.

Bill Simmons tweeted, “I’m upset. Who doesn’t love Nick Chubb? This sucks.”

LeBron James tweeted, “DAMN MAN! Nick Chubb. Praying for the absolute best”

JJ Watt also sympathized, tweeting. “Just the worst feeling. Gutted for Nick Chubb. Hope Minkah is OK. Injuries suck man. They absolutely suck.”

Lamar Jackson, Torrey Smith, Kyler Murray, Derrick Henry, and plenty of other NFL players also sent their well-wishes to the four-time Pro Bowl running back.

Chubb has rushed for at least 950 yards and scored at least eight touchdowns in each of his previous five NFL seasons, so far. His injury deals a weighty blow to Cleveland who relied on the running back to do a lot in their offense.
