The first half of Monday night’s NFC Wild-Card Round playoff game was a complete disaster for Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals.
Los Angeles outscored Arizona 21-0 (beginning with a fantastic Odell Beckham Jr. touchdown catch), and Murray had brutal numbers: 7-of-17 passing, for 29 yards (1.6 AVG), two interceptions, and a 9.3 passer rating.
The lowlight of the nightmare half from Murray was this comical pick-six from Arizona’s own four-yard line in the second quarter.
And on the next drive, Murray hrew the second interception. This one was much more of a tough-luck play off the hands of running back James Conner, but Conner didn’t appear ready for the pass:
