If you’ve ever seen Key & Peele, you know about their collection of all-timer football names. Sometimes, art imitates life as a name worthy of being included in the Annual East/West Collegiate Bowl was broadcast during the Bengals-Titans playoff game.
It may not be how he wanted people to know his name but after getting penalized for holding, the broadcast name dropped Titans wide receiver/special teams specialist Racey McMath and that got some people to go back and make sure they heard that right. Sure enough, Racey is in his rookie year at Tennessee and if you’re going to be an NFL wideout, “Racey” is a pretty cool name to have.
Social media had some fun with Racey McMath’s name and had some apt scenarios where someone could see that name.

Racey McMath sounds like something the anti-analytics crowd call stat nerds.
