The Minnesota Vikings have had a frustrating offseason in their wide receiver room. Justin Jefferson has been sidelined during training camp with a lingering hamstring injury. Jefferson’s running mate, Jordan Addison, has been healthy and available, but is going to miss the first three games of the regular season due to a suspension stemming from a DUI charge.

Now, there’s been another complication for the Vikings’ wideouts, per one prominent NFL insider.

“The #Vikings confirm that WR Rondale Moore suffered a season-ending knee injury in Saturday’s preseason game, ending his season before it began for the second consecutive year,” reported NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Fans reacted to the tough break on social media.

“Stop letting this man play in the preseason Jesus Christ,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Do we have a statistic on how many season ending injuries have happened in just the first few weeks of training camp through the second week of preseason?” one fan wanted to know.

“Hopefully he can still play. Back to back season ending injuries usually put the nail in the coffin for a career,” another fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see if Moore gives the NFL another crack next season or decides to call it a career.
