Former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch has an argument as the most beloved running back in Seattle Seahawks history. Which is surely a large part of the reason he was on the field Thursday night for the Hawks’ first preseason game, albeit in a new role, per Awful Announcing.

Lynch still has some fight in him and it was on full display during Thursday’s photography stint.

“And then, after Seahawks RB George Holani ran for a touchdown, the same sideline photographer pushed him,” ESPN’s senior NFL Insider Adam Schefter tweeted, while sharing a video of the incident.

Fans were not happy with Lynch’s actions.

“This is wildly unprofessional and that photographer should be canned immediately. Seriously disgusting. Who does this clown think he is?” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“What a loser. That’s why he’s nothing more than a photographer while the real players make millions,” someone else added.

“Lynch’s competitive fire doesn’t have an off switch. Even with a camera around his neck, those football instincts take over when action comes his way—that’s pure competitor DNA showing up when you least expect it,” one fan added.

“It’s funny, but realistically he could have injured him. Then what?” another person wanted to know.

Hopefully, the next time Lynch takes the field as a photographer, he remembers that he can’t get physical with the players.
