Last week, New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones had a pretty horrible performance in the team’s 38-3 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, turning the ball over three times and going just 12-of-21 through the air for 150 yards. And it sounds like he knows he needs to be better.

During a recent interview on WEEI, Mac Jones was asked if feels he still has the support of the New England Patriots organization. And he made it clear that this week, he didn’t give the Patriots a lot of reason to believe in him with the way he played on the field.

“I think, for me, I just gotta go out there and win some games,” Jones said according to Pro Football Talk. “And that’s what it all comes down to is going out there and doing my part. I’m working hard. I know I can do it. I have to believe in myself. And I didn’t really give them a lot to believe in the other night, but I will show that I can do it. And that comes from hard work and trusting myself and trusting them.”

Jones was eventually pulled from the game during the lopsided loss to the Cowboys on Sunday, but Bill Belichick made it clear that he will remain the team’s starter this week agains the New Orleans Saints.
