After drafting Notre Dame safety Kyle Hamilton at No. 14, the Baltimore Ravens made a trade for another first-round pick. In doing so, they paid a steep price.
The Ravens acquired the No. 23 overall pick from the Arizona Cardinals. To get that pick, they traded the No. 100 overall pick as well as receiver Marquise Brown.

In Arizona, Brown will be reunited with Kyler Murray, his quarterback while both were at the University of Oklahoma. Murray and Brown were both excited for the Boomer Sooner reunion.

I can easily see Hollywood Brown hauling in some long bombs from Kyler Murray…Brown should get more volume in Arizona as well away from Baltimore's more conservative offense

Brown is one of the fastest players in the NFL and has shown steady improvement through his first three seasons in the league. In 2021, he set career highs with 91 receptions and 1,008 yards. He added six touchdown receptions, two shy of his career-high of eight, which was set in 2020.
During the 2018 season at Oklahoma, Murray won the Heisman Trophy. He passed for 4,361 yards with 42 touchdowns and seven interceptions and added 1,001 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground. Brown was his leading receiver in the passing game, catching 75 passes for 1,318 yards with 10 touchdowns.
Murray has been a source of rumors throughout the offseason. He made his frustrations with the Arizona organization known. But in the days leading up to the draft, the Cardinals exercised their fifth-year option on him. Time will tell if the Oklahoma reunion will work well. But if nothing else, it should make Murray happy.
