It’s no secret that Cincinnati Bengals star quarterback Joe Burrow has quickly established himself as one of the best and most dominant quarterbacks in the league. Burrow led his team to a Super Bowl appearance in just his second season and throws what is statistically the best deep ball in the entire NFL. But there’s one team he just can’t seem to beat: the Cleveland Browns.
In his third season in the NFL, Joe Burrow still has not yet won a single game against the Browns. The Cincinnati star quarterback has now faced Cleveland four times in his NFL career – twice in 2020, once last season and now once this season – and he is 0-4 in those games.
The unfortunate trend continued for Burrow on Monday night as the Browns blasted the Bengals by a score of 32-13 as Cincinnati was unable to move the ball or score on offense for much of the game.
“You’ve got to give credit to them, they always play well against us. It’s tough to answer that one. They’ve got really good players on defense, they’re really well coached,” Burrow said when asked about his struggles against the Browns, according to Pro Football Talk. “They’ve had our number the last couple years.”
This isn’t a trend Burrow will want to see continue.
