Throughout the season and preseason, the calf injury to Cincinnati Bengals superstar quarterback Joe Burrow has been one of the biggest storylines in the entire league. But it seems like that could finally be over as the preseason MVP candidate appears to have mostly recovered from the injury.
While Joe Burrow has not missed a game with his injury, he was clearly limited by it through most of the season, but that did not appear to be the case during the team’s win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday night. And this week, he made it clear that this is “by far” the closest he’s been to 100 percent healthy since suffering the injury during preseason training camp.
“By far,” Burrow said Wednesday according to Geoff Hobson of the Cincinnati Bengals team website. “I’m confident I can run around and extend plays right now. It’s tough to say a percentage. . . . It’s getting better and better.”
It’s a pretty big announcement regarding Burrow’s status after he battled the injury for the whole season previously, and the NFL world had plenty to say about it on social media as a result.

We’ll have to see how Burrow looks this week when the Bengals take on the Seattle Seahawks.
