When Jim Harbaugh decided to leave the Michigan Wolverines to become the next head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, he was pretty clear that it was in order to pursue a Super Bowl championship. But it sounds like he actually wants to win more than just one Super Bowl during his time with the Chargers.
During his introductory press conference with the team, Jim Harbaugh outlined some pretty insane expectations for his Los Angeles Chargers teams, making it clear that his goal is to win multiple Super Bowl championships with the team.
“It needs to be multiple, multiple championships,” Harbaugh told reporters on Thursday according to Kris Rhim of ESPN. “We’re going to be humble. Humble and hungry. But that’s our goal. Our goal is to treat people in a first-class manner and to win multiple championships.”
Obviously, this is a pretty lofty goal from Harbaugh, especially considering only 14 coaches have ever won multiple Super Bowl championships. He also picked a pretty tough division to try to compete in because the only active coach with multiple Super Bowl victories is Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid, who coaches in the Chargers’ division.
All in all, these comments from Harbaugh led to a lot of reactions on social media.

We’ll have to see whether or not he and his team will be able to meet these goals in the coming years.
