Next week will be a big week for Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys as they host Odell Beckham Jr. Beckham spent Thursday night with the New York Giants and apparently things went well with his former team.

But now it’s the Cowboys’ turn to show what they can offer Beckham if he came to Dallas. Jones described Beckham’s visit in one word “excited.”

“I’m excited. He will be coming in Monday. In the meantime, we’re doing a lot of evaluation, a lot of things regarding physical conditioning and things like that, information. All of that is working,” Jones said.

Beckham has narrowed his choices down to the Cowboys and Giants with many believing he will end up in Dallas but if you read some of the comments from Giants players and coaches, it sounds like he may be leaning towards making a return to New York.

But apparently, the Giants made a huge case for Beckham to return to his original home and it may be working. Sterling Shephard seems to think so.

“It would mean a lot” if Odell Beckham Jr. came back to the Giants. Shepard said that it would be a “special thing” if he came back.”

Beckham responded: “You’re dang right about that.”

Don’t count the Giants out of the mix, but Jerry Jones always seems to have a trick or two up his sleeve that might close the deal for Dallas.
