As many pet owners will attest, the family dog is very much a member of the family.

In Ravens offensive lineman Jeremy Zuttah’s case, this statement is true and then some. Zuttah’s pit bull Ace has been at he and wife Heran Haile’s side for almost 10 years now. The couple got Ace when they were both students at Rutgers University.

He has been at the couple’s side ever since. So, when the two finally decided to tie the knot, it seemed only fitting that Ace be a participant in the ceremony.

There was only one problem.

City Hall, where the two were originally planning on being wed, did not allow dogs inside. So, rather than leave Ace out of the biggest day of their lives, Haile and Zuttah called a venue audible to accommodate their four-legged companion.

Not only was Ace able to witness his parents’ wedding, he even got to walk down the aisle in his finest doggy tuxedo.

Ace is a very good dog.
