JC Tretter, the current president of the NFL Players Association is retiring after nine seasons with the Green Bay Packers and the Cleveland Browns.
In a Twitter post, Tretter revealed that he’s retiring on his own terms and thanked his family and wife for their support. The center said that he plans to not only remain NFLPA president, but “doubling down” on doing the job now he won’t have on-field football responsibilities.
A labor relations graduate from Cornell, Tretter is currently on his second term as president, being re-elected back in March.
Many showed their appreciation and respect for Tretter as he embarks on the next chapter of his career.
