What started as a cute baby announcement for Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie McDevitt, turned into a plus-one for their OB-GYN at Super Bowl LVII.
Both Jason (seen above during an Oct. 3 game), and his brother Travis, will face one other as the first brothers to do so in a Super Bowl on Feb. 12 when the Kansas City Chiefs go up against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Kylie will be 38 weeks pregnant with their third child, a girl. So she wanted to make sure to have her OB-GYN with her should she go into labor, as Jason detailed in a recent episode of New Heights, the Kelce brothers’ podcast.
It’s what Jason is referring to as a “Super Kelce Bowl.”
“If she has a baby in the stadium, it’s officially scripted,” Jason said.
Travis responded to the thought of it all: “We’re in the Matrix.”
The brothers still had to decide which sideline their mom, Donna, and dad, Ed, would be on for the Big Game.
What an interesting problem to have.
Travis admitted Jason has more of a family-oriented group of people who will be watching him play. Travis’ guest list is filled with more of the friend variety.
The Chiefs head to Glendale, Ariz. after defeating the Cincinnati Bengals, 23-20, in the AFC Championship game. They’ll face the Eagles, who whomped on the San Francisco 49ers, 31-7, in the NFC Championship.
No matter who comes out on top in the end, the Kelce brothers admitted their mom, Donna, will be declared both the loser and the winner.
