Cincinnati Bengals superstar wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase had one of the best games of his already 0dominant NFL career during the team’s win over the Arizona Cardinals this week, and he’s being rewarded for it with a bit of recognition from the NFL.
On Wednesday afternoon, the NFL announced that Ja’Marr Chase had been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Cardinals on Sunday afternoon. Chase set a new franchise record with 15 catches which led to 192 receiving yards and three touchdowns for the Bengals star as he helped lead his team to victory over the Cardinals.
It’s certainly a well-deserved honor for the Bengals superstar after such a dominant showing on the field, and the NFL world had a lot to say about it on social media as a result.

Chase and the Bengals offense got off to a relatively slow start to the season this year due in part to a calf injury to star quarterback Joe Burrow, but the offense looked like it was performing as expected during last week’s game. We’ll have to see if Chase and the Bengals can build upon that performance in the coming weeks and keep the momentum alive.
