J.J. Watt is an All-Pro pass rusher who has certainly left his mark on the NFL despite a dip in production the last few seasons. One thing he may not get enough credit for is his comedic abilities.

On Twitter Friday, Watt offered up a hilarious comparison after seeing a collectible action figure that is supposed to look like the Cardinals‘ DE. He claimed it instead looked eerily similar to Washington Commanders‘ QB Carson Wentz.

“I can’t be the only one that sees a sad Carson Wentz, right?” Watt asked on his Twitter account Thursday.

Some fans on social media agree with Watt’s assertion, with a few fans noting that the figurine looks like a mixture of Wentz and former Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger.

As for Wentz, the former No. 2 pick in the 2016 NFL draft, he started his career off as great as a young QB could hope for. However, after getting injured during the Eagles‘ Super Bowl run in 2017, his performance took a major slide. That ultimately ended up in him getting shipped out to Indianapolis.

After only one season with the Colts, the franchise saw enough and traded him to Washington. That will likely be his last real shot at being a starting quarterback in the NFL.

Colts’ owner Jim Irsay even came out a few months after the conclusion of the 2021 season to call the Wentz era in Indy “a mistake.”

Let’s hope for Commanders fans’ sake that Wentz isn’t sad after his first season in the nation’s capital.
