It’s been nearly three decades since actor Patrick Renna played the beloved character “Ham” in the iconic baseball movie The Sandlot, but now it looks like he’s providing the sports world with some glorious entertainment once again in a viral NFL dance video.
In a video shared to TikTok on Thursday ahead of the NFL season opener between the Buffalo Bills and the Los Angeles Rams, Renna donned a New England Patriots jersey along with two unknown friends – one wearing a Rams jersey and one a Minnesota Vikings jersey – and the trio put on the performance of a lifetime.
The three performed dance routines to the various NFL theme songs on each major television network: Fox, NBC, CBS, ESPN, and the NFL Network. The results are absolutely amazing.
The video went completely viral. Within less than 24 hours, it already amassed over 3 million views on TikTok and has been shared on several other social media platforms, as well.
Seeing Renna perform these dances all these years after playing “Ham” in The Sandlot was the perfect, yet completely unexpected way to start the football season.
