The Green Bay Packers are looking to dethrone the Detroit Lions at the top of the NFC North. Franchise quarterback Jordan Love, who has struggled with turnovers, will need all the help he can get this season, which made one injury this offseason so brutal.
“Sources: #Packers RB MarShawn Lloyd suffered an abductor injury during Monday’s practice that will require rest, but it’s not expected to sideline him for long. The second-year back has drawn rave reviews, and the team has high hopes for him as a complement to Josh Jacobs,” reported Jordan Schultz.
Unfortunately, now the Packers are dealing with a critical injury on the other side of the ball, per one league insider.
“Packers’ safety Xavier McKinney could miss the rest of training camp due to a calf injury,” ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Friday.

“That’s rough! Think they should risk him playing in the season opener if he’s not 100%?” one person wrote on Twitter.
“How and why everyone getting injured so bad?” someone else wanted to know.
“As long as he’s good for Week 1 I’m fine. More reps for Bullard at safety might be good,” another fan wrote.
Hopefully, the Packers are as healthy as possible when the regular season finally arrives.
