Sony Michel has already had a successful career after just four seasons in the NFL. Starting at running back for the New England Patriots in his rookie year, Michel was an instrumental part of the Pats’ Super Bowl LIII victory over the Los Angeles Rams. Michel scored the only touchdown in the game.
In 2021, Michel was traded to the Rams where he was the regular season replacement for the injured Cam Akers. While he didn’t make much of an impact in Super Bowl LVI, he helped get the Rams to the Super Bowl.
Now it appears Michel is on the move again and according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, he will be heading to the Miami Dolphins.
Michel is the latest offensive signing for the Dolphins after they broke the bank for Tyreek Hill. It remains to be seen if the Dolphins can put together all these pieces to be a winner but it sure will be fun to find out.
