Things took a left turn on a Delta Air Lines flight. A four-time Pro Bowl defensive end, former Minnesota Vikings star Everson Griffen, was forcibly removed from a flight due to what TMZ is reporting as unruly behavior.
The full details around the incident have not come out yet, but Delta provided a statement.
“Delta has zero tolerance for unruly behavior and will always work with law enforcement to that end,” a spokesperson for the airline said in a statement. “We apologize to our customers for the delay in their travel as safety and security comes before everything else at Delta.”
Fans reacted to the shocking news on social media.
“Damn I hope he’s doing okay,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Mannn I remember Valeting his whip consistently at the ol Burch Steak joint in Uptown Minneapolis he would always pull up in his Land Rover really nice guy what a specimen though I wouldnt wish physically removing him from anywhere on no one sheesh,” someone else added.
“More and more tough stories continue to come out on Everson Griffen, hope he can get some help soon,” another person added.
“Personal foul: roughing the flight attendant,” joked someone else.
Hopefully, Emerson gets whatever help he needs, and nobody was harmed in the incident.
