Eli Manning has apparently never watched I Think You Should Leave, but his Karl Havoc-looking costume during Monday night’s ManningCast sure made a lot of viewers not want to be around anymore.
The Monday Night Football alternate broadcast kicked off with Peyton and Eli showcasing their Halloween outfits. For Peyton, it was an NFL referee. For Eli, it was apparently his Chad Powers character. However, the mask that he was using wasn’t exactly as form-fitting as it used to be.
Even Peyton was having a hard time with the creepy mask.

The only thing worse than Eli wearing that lifeless face was when he decided to take it off. We’re not sure who was more relieved, him or everyone watching at home.
Eli’s outfit inspired a lot of different reactions. For some, he reminded them of the aforementioned I Think You Should Leave character. For others, it recalled the time Dwight donned a first-aid dummy face on The Office. And there were even comparisons to Mrs. Doubtfire, Michael Myers, and Hannibal’s Mason Verger.

Eli might not have intended to scare people with his mask on Monday, but he certainly succeeded in making everyone uncomfortable, which, we suppose, makes it a very successful Halloween costume.

Eli only wore the mask for a little under three minutes of game action, but the memory of those dead eyes will stay with us for much longer.
