The Philadelphia Eagles embarrassed the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. Now, the Eagles are looking to get back to the Super Bowl and repeat as Super Bowl champions for the first time in franchise history.
Unfortunately, they’re without guard Landon Dickerson for the time being, as he deals with a meniscus injury. Dickerson isn’t the only guard the Eagles will have to make do without for the time being, either.
“Landon Dickerson isn’t the only Eagles guard who is now considered week to week. Kenyon Green, whom the Eagles acquired in an off-season trade, also is what one source described as “week to week” with a shoulder injury that is likely to end his preseason,” reported Pro Football Talk early on Tuesday.
Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“Sheesh. Camp feels even more like an obstacle this year for teams to get out as healthy as possible. It just feels ‘more’ this year,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Hopefully he can recover by mid season and be ready for the playoffs,” another fan added.
“Well, since he was running 3rd team…I don’t think the Eagles are going to miss Green even w/Dickerson’s injury In related news…wow, how bad did they want CJGJ out of that building to trade him for Green?” someone else wrote.
It’ll be interesting to see when Dickerson and Green can return to the field.
