Eagles wideout Josh Huff was arrested early Tuesday morning when he was stopped for speeding and police found marijuana and a gun in his car on the New Jersey side of the Walt Whitman Bridge, according to CBS3 in Philadelphia.
The station reports that its unknown as to whether the gun is registered and Huff has a permit to carry the gun. The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the case.
“We are aware of the incident today involving Josh Huff. At this point, we are gathering more information”, the Eagles said in a statemen.
Currently, Huff has 13 catches for 72 yards on the season and has also returned a kick for a touchdown against Minnesota. Huff was a third round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft out of Oregon, where his former Eagles coach Chip Kelly also coached him.
