The Dallas Cowboys were absolutely decimated by injuries to their stars last season. Micah Parsons, Dak Prescott, and CeeDee Lamb each missed significant time due to injury.
Prescott suffered the worst injury, with a severe hamstring injury that resulted in his tendon being separated from the bone, ending his season prematurely. Now, Prescott is providing an update on what has been a lengthy recovery process.
“Dak Prescott said he is fully healthy and ready to go for training camp from his hamstring surgery, pending one more checkup with the team doctors. No surprise considering he took part in all of the drills in offseason program,” ESPN’s Todd Archer reported on Twitter.
Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“Gonna be the same ole cowboys and get bounced in the first round if they even make it to the playoffs,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Still going to throw 3 picks a game but in a healthier way,” one fan added.
“well by end of camp his shoulder will be strained. Twisted ankle and by week 4 he is in a body cast,” another fan predicted pessimistically.
“Did they fix his decision making skills and playoff choking tendencies? Eh… still the same avg QB then. Better luck in a few years,” someone else added.
It’ll be interesting to see what level Prescott will perform at upon his return.
