It’s been a while since former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick was effectively blacklisted from the league after peacefully protesting against police violence by kneeling during the national anthem before games.

Still, Kaepernick has continued his political activism and is still working to fight against social injustices in the country. It would appear that the former gunslinger has also remained active in his personal life.

He never managed to win a Super Bowl in his career, but he secured a different sort of ring, per TMZ. Kaepernick’s partner, radio personality Nessa Diab, told the outlet that they got married “years ago.”

AS much as he has going on in his personal and professional life these days, Kaepernick still isn’t ruling out a return to football.

“We’ve just got to get one of these team owners to open up,” Kaepernick said last summer, per Sky Sports. “It’s something I’ve trained my whole life for, so to be able to step back on the field, I think that would be a major moment, a major accomplishment for me.

“I think I could bring a lot to a team and help them win a championship.”

It’ll be interesting to see if Kaepernick ever gets a crack at another job in the league.
