The Cincinnati Bengals have one of the best wide receiver duos in the entire league with both Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins catching passes from star quarterback Joe Burrow. But unfortunately for the Bengals, it sounds like there’s a chance that neither one of them will be available for this week’s game against the Houston Texans.
According to the Cincinnati Bengals injury report, Tee Higgins did not practice on Thursday while Ja’Marr Chase was limited. As Bengals beat writer Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer points out, that puts both of their statuses for Sunday’s game in jeopardy.
“Lots of injury news around the Bengals:
Tee Higgins dealing with a hamstring injury, doesn’t practice Thursday
Ja’Marr Chase says his back is feeling ‘OK’ and in his mind, he’s playing. Says it will be true game-time decision
Sam Hubbard unlikely to play with ankle injury,” Conway said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.
It’s pretty horrible news for the Bengals as they could be without their two most explosive offensive weapons, and the NFL world had a lot to say about it on social media as a result.
Joe Burrow is clearly incredible, but it would be an interesting experiment to see how he looked healthy but without his two world beaters at WR. https://t.co/tPrcAM4GuN

We’ll have to see whether or not either player will be able to play on Sunday.
