The New York Giants took a lead in the third quarter of Monday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys with a spectacular touchdown run from Saquon Barkley. After quickly tying the game in the third quarter, the Cowboys answered with a highlight-reel caliber touchdown of their own, this own from CeeDee Lamb.

A critical drop from Lamb likely cost Dallas a touchdown in the first half. In the fourth quarter, though, he went a long way in atoning for that drop. Lamb not only pulled in a Cooper Rush pass with one hand but managed to get his feet down in bounds for a touchdown.

The NFL world heaped its collective praise on Dallas’ receiver in the moments after the tremendous touchdown catch.

Lamb was a constant thorn in the side of New York’s secondary throughout that entire possession. He caught four passes for 48 yards. That included not only the touchdown reception but also a critical four-yard grab on fourth down to keep the drive moving.

The touchdown also ended a long scoring drought for Lamb. He had not scored a touchdown since Week 10 of the 2021 season when he caught two against the Atlanta Falcons. Including the postseason, that drought lasted 10 full games.
