The Indiana Fever has arguably the biggest star in North American sports at the moment on ot roster in young point guard Caitlin Clark. Unfortunately, Clark’s second season in the WNBA has been plagued by injuries.

Clark is currently sidelined with her third injury of the season, an aggravation of a groin injury that kept her out two weeks the last time she injured it. The Fever got a significant update on the groin’s status on Thursday, according to one prominent franchise insider.

“NEW: After meeting with doctors, the Fever announce Caitlin Clark has no additional damage or injuries from her right groin injury. She will continue to work with the Fever’s medical staff on recovery and rehab, prioritizing long-term health. No timetable for return,” Fever reporter Chloe Peterson posted on Twitter.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.

“That’s a fun contradiction. No additional damage or injuries. But also, literally no plans to come back,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Why can’t they give an estimated time for rehab? Other sports do it. This organization is always so vague,” someone else added.

“CC shut it down till the playoffs and if the teams fails to make it so be it,” wrote another fan.

It’ll be interesting to see if Clark can suit up again this season.
