It’s no secret that the Buffalo Bills have one of the most dominant offenses in the entire NFL this season behind star quarterback Josh Allen. The team ranks No. 2 in the entire league in both scoring offense and total offense, averaging 28.1 points per game and 417.4 yards per game. But recently, the team has had some pretty concerning struggles in one specific area.
While the offense has been generally productive, it has not been quite as effective as it could be as a result of some costly red zone turnovers. As prominent NFL analyst Warren Sharp points out, the Buffalo Bills are in the midst of a concerning trend of red zone interceptions.
“FIVE red zone INTs in the Bills last SIX games,” Sharp said on Twitter on Thursday afternoon.
It’s certainly not a good trend for Josh Allen and the Bills, and the NFL world had plenty to say about their misfortunes on Twitter on Thursday afternoon.
While this obviously isn’t hurting the Bills too much with the team still in first place in the AFC North and among the best offenses in the NFL, it’s clearly something that the team would like to get fixed in the near future if they want to compete for a title this season.
