The Buffalo Bills suffered a disappointing loss on Sunday to the Cincinnati Bengals, leading to star wide receiver Stefon Diggs attempting to leave the stadium with his belongings before coaches even came back into the locker room. Diggs was very clearly heated about the situation and doubled down on his frustration on social media Monday.
Diggs took to social media to continue voicing his anger about the loss, saying that he was not “okay” with Buffalo’s performance on the field.
“Want me to be okay with losing? Nah.”

He continued to say that their play was not “up to the standard” the team had for themselves all season.
“Want me to be okay with our level of play when it’s not up to the standard? Nah.”

He ended his social media tirade with a message to those criticizing him for his reaction to the loss, saying that they should be more upset about the team’s performance on the field.
“It’s easy to criticize my reaction more than the result.”

Diggs was very clearly upset with his lack of impact in the game, only recording four catches for 35 yards despite seeing ten targets from star quarterback Josh Allen, which led to a tense interaction with his quarterback.
His decision to try and leave the locker room early after the loss is one that can be criticized, but it is clear that he is passionate about the success of the Bills, which is certainly a great thing.
Stefon Diggs is under contract through 2027 with the Bills, and he is undoubtedly a huge part of their great success over the past few seasons. Hopefully his anger about the loss subsides and he will be able to help Buffalo for years to come.
