Week 3 was quite a showcase for the NFL. All of the focus was on the field and no one paid attention to what went on before the start of each game. OK, well… maybe not.
But this past weekend was a fun one and it resulted some pretty amazing tweets from NFL Twitter. Whose words made the cut as the best tweets from Week 3?
Von Miller says psych and the refs say nope
Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller is one of the best defensive players in the NFL right now. He is also one who likes to have a little fun out on the field. Which is probably what he was trying to do when he was flagged for a ridiculous unsportsmanlike conduct penalty during the Broncos game on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.

Im currently taking a knee to protest the absolutely crazy game ending penalty called on @VonMiller

Odell Beckham Jr. had to relieve himself
Odell Beckham Jr. has become a bit of a polarizing figure in the NFL during his time with the New York Giants. The wide receiver continued to add to his list of career antics on Sunday when he celebrated a touchdown by marking his territory like a dog.

Trump and I agree: if Odell Beckham Jr. cant’t get on all fours & mimic a peeing dog without getting flagged, this is no longer the US of A.

Golden Tate comes up short against the Falcons
On Sunday, the Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons had an all-out battle and the game literally came down to the very last play. The final result was decided by a controversial call and does anyone think the Lions were actually the beneficiaries of this call?
Hey @NFL, if you’re worried about getting the call right, how about pass interference on the guy grabbing Golden Tate’s left arm? #Lions pic.twitter.com/BGyTcrAvcS

Her: He’s probably thinking about other girls…
Him: What’s the next NFL rule that’s going to screw over the @Lions pic.twitter.com/uCuxYLkD6b

Trust me, the Lions will lose a game when a punt goes through the uprights and the refs will be like, “that’s worth two points guys”

Blake Bortles lights it up across the pond, again
For at least the past two years, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles seems to only play very well when his team makes their annual trip to London. It happened again on Sunday during the Jaguars’ game against the Baltimore Ravens and Bortles’s high level of play was blowing everyone’s minds.
Surprise, Tom Brady leads the Patriots to a last-second comeback
Throughout his career, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has had some amazing game-winning drives. Brady’s comeback on Sunday might have topped them all.

Hate Brady as much as you want. When he’s gone you’ll miss him.
