A number of games from Week 14 of the 2017 NFL season certainly delivered a satisfying amount of excitement. Nine of the 16 games were decided by seven points or less and two of the matchups needed overtime to determine a winner.
Besides the actual outcomes of the games in Week 14, there were also a bunch of memorable (and forgettable) moments from all of the action around the league. So how exactly did the fine football fans on Twitter react to what went down in the NFL this week?
Josh Gordon catches his first touchdown since 2013
In his second game back after missing all of the 2015 and 2016 seasons due to a suspension, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon continued his redemption tour this week in a matchup with the Green Bay Packers. Gordon only caught three passes on Sunday, but one of those catches resulted in a trip to the end zone for the first time since 2013.
I can’t lie I started crying when Josh Gordon caught that touchdown ?

Carson Wentz suffers a season-ending knee injury
Having already thrown four touchdowns through three quarters on Sunday, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz continued to add to his MVP resume during the team’s Week 14 game against the Los Angeles Rams. However, Wentz will not be able to add anything else to his campaign after he suffered a season-ending knee injury in the third quarter and simultaneously ripped the hearts out of every Eagles fan’s chest.
A little over 12 hours after the Carson Wentz injury, with the help of WebMD and extensive research…
I am educated and officially an orthopedic doctor and knee surgeon.

Bills and Colts play an actual football game in a snow storm
It seems like at least once a season, two NFL teams end up playing a game in a blizzard. This year, it was the Buffalo Bills and Indianapolis Colts in Week 14. There was not a ton of action during Sunday’s matchup, but the results of the game seemed secondary to watching each team’s players slip and slide all over the field in piles of snow.

Tom Savage suffers a disturbing concussion
At a time when the NFL is supposedly putting forth its best effort to decrease the amount of head injuries around the league, Houston Texans quarterback Tom Savage sustained a concussion midway through his team’s matchup with the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. The way his body reacted to the concussion-inducing hit was quite disturbing and the fact that Savage actually went back into the game after this should boggle absolutely everyone’s mind.
I don’t know how Savage was able to go back into the game after having a seizure. Not a good look for the NFL. pic.twitter.com/H3nRYChX3Z

If you saw Tom Savage in a restaurant on the floor having those involuntary convulsions you would have called 911. Somehow, we are supposed to believe that NO ONE on #Texans or from #NFL/independent Drs saw anything because it was too far away. No one has a monitor #BS
