There are several teams across the NFL who would like to improve their quarterback play, and it sounds like more than a few of them could be willing to move up in the NFL Draft in order to do it.

According to a recent report from Adam Schefter of ESPN, there is no shortage of teams interested in securing the No. 3 overall pick in the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft from the Arizona Cardinals – and the Cardinals are considering the move.

“At least six teams have inquired with the Arizona Cardinals about trading up for the third overall pick in the upcoming NFL draft, league sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Monday,” ESPN reported on Monday afternoon. “The Cardinals still are mulling whether to move the pick or make it, sources told ESPN.”

The Carolina Panthers and the Houston Texans currently hold the No. 1 and No. 2 overall picks and are expected to select quarterbacks C.J. Stroud and Bryce Young, regardless of the order. That would leave quarterbacks Anthony Richardson and Will Levis available for a team attempting to secure the No. 3 overall pick.

The Cardinals, meanwhile, are unlikely to select a quarterback in the first round as the team remains committed to starting quarterback Kyler Murray after selecting him with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
