Former NFL player Antonio Brown is back in the headlines, and not for anything good. For the second time in four months, a Miami-Dade County judge has issued a warrant for Brown’s arrest over a missed child support payment to his ex-girlfriend, Wiltrice Jackson.

This warrant was issued Aug. 9 over a missed payment of $15,000. As per the court filings TMZ obtained, Brown can settle the warrant if he pays the $15,000, plus $5,000 in fees.

In April, the same judge issued a warrant for Brown’s arrest over a missed payment of $30,000. In that case, Brown paid up and avoided jail time. But that’s one of the many controversies around him this year, including his ownership involvement with the collapsed Albany Empire arena football team and his public discussions of wanting to sleep with a married porn star.

Brown and Jackson dated early in his football career and have a daughter together. But their relationship has had rough spots beyond child support payment disputes, including Jackson accusing Brown of shoving her during a 2019 domestic dispute. No charges were filed in that case.

An arrest warrant was filed for Brown this November around another domestic dispute where a woman accused him of throwing a shoe at her and throwing her clothes out of her house. No formal charges were filed in that case. Brown also created controversy in January by sharing a sexually explicit video on Snapchat, with that video involving him and Chelsie Kyriss, the mother of some of his children. He later claimed his account was hacked.

The 35-year-old Brown last played in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021, leaving them around controversy where the team said he refused to enter a game and where he said he was injured. He announced his retirement from professional football this March, but then unretired and said he would play for the Empire. However, the National Arena League terminated the franchise before he played.
