Antonio Brown has been a whirlwind of mostly bad headlines since he trotted off the field for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, never to be seen in an NFL uniform ever again.

Anthony Olivieri and Michael A. Fletcher of ESPN recently dropped a story that details the descent of Brown from one of the best receivers in the NFL to a manic, potentially criminal owner of the Albany Empire in the National Arena League.

ESPN revealed that everything bad that has come Brown’s way started with the Steelers naming wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, and not him, the MVP of the 2018 season.

His arena football ownership didn’t fair much better. The Albany Empire, recently booted from the league by a unanimous vote from the board of the National Arena League, was marked by “failure to pay three months of membership fees,” according to Brown’s accountant and two league sources.

Brown, personally, was known for “unpaid bills, unfulfilled promises and erratic behavior, according to players, coaches, team employees and fans” who spoke to ESPN.

Perhaps most shockingly, the ESPN report details an incident in which Brown wanted to pull an AR-15 on one of his players for questioning his management style.

The NFL world was quick to react to the horrible news:
