The Dan Snyder saga grows uglier by the day.
Things have gotten so bad that even Al Michaels gave a bold hot take on the topic while calling the Washington Commanders 12-7 win over the Chicago Bears Thursday night on Amazon Prime.
Michaels, not known for being controversial or outspoken in the broadcast booth, outlined the investigations surrounding Snyder, for sexual harassment, operating a toxic work environment, misogyny and financial fraud.
Then he went a step further.
“Just my feeling, I think what the league would love is for Snyder to sell the team,” Michaels said. “Not have to go to a vote but just sell the team. Because it’s become a major problem around the league, obviously.”
The NFL owners have a meeting in New York City Tuesday. The issue of voting to force Snyder to sell the Commanders is not currently on the agenda. Snyder launched a pre-emptive strike on that possibility this week, announcing he will use damaging information he has on NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and several other team owners if he is forced to sell the Commanders.
Michaels’ comments drew plenty of response on Twitter, with some wondering if he had ulterior motives (hint: Amazon owner Jeff Bezos is a possible candidate to buy the team if it is sold).

This feels very calculated. Bezos, please buy the team. Please. https://t.co/PUhJEKVwMc

Whoa, credit to Al Michaels there for urging Dan Snyder to sell the Commanders.
