Over the course of the NFL season and the offseason, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has appeared on the Pat McAfee show where he has spoken quite candidly about a number of topics. This has led many to believe that McAfee might have some insight into Rodgers’ decision. But apparently, that is not the case.
During his show on Monday, Pat McAfee revealed that even though Rodgers has emerged from his isolation retreat, he has not heard from the Green Bay Packers since before he went into the darkness retreat.
“I have not heard from Aaron Rodgers since he’s come out of the darkness,” McAfee said on his show on Monday. “A lot of people are sending us tweets … I did ask, [but] I did not get an answer. I hope he’s okay and congrats to him.”
McAfee did say that his cohost A.J. Hawk, who was teammates with Rodgers for nine seasons with the Green Bay Packers, has had “correspondence” with the quarterback, but that Hawk is “currently on a cruise.”
“We might have gotten kicked out during the darkness,” McAfee. “The darkness might have eliminated us. If that is the case, hell of a run.”
It’s clear that we’re all waiting for Rodgers to break his silence – including McAfee.
