It’s safe to say that this season has not exactly gone according to plan for Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. While the team won three of its first four games, the Packers have now lost five straight games including the most recent loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday in a game where Rodgers struggled.

It’s gotten so bad in Green Bay recently that many are even speculating that Rodgers regrets returning to the NFL this season after considering retirement. Aaron Rodgers was asked if he regrets his decision not to retire.

“I think that’s an exaggeration,” Rodgers said according to Fox News. “Frustration and miserability (sic) are two different emotions. When I decided to come back it was all-in, and I don’t make decisions in hindsight.

“So I was all-in, and this is a lot of life lessons for sure this year, but luckily it’s not over. There’s still a lot of games left. We’ll be counted out, probably, by many, and we’ll see how we respond.”

Rodgers isn’t the only veteran quarterback who’s had to answer questions about retirement regrets this season. Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady returned this season after initially retiring from the NFL last season, he has been asked multiple times whether he might re-retire in the middle of the season and has many people believing he regrets returning this season.
