The football world awaits a decision from Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers on his NFL future, and it appears that he’s still not very close to making that decision.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports during the NFL Combine on Friday night that Rodgers is “truly torn on where he wants to play in 2022.”
Rapoport adds, “While many in the NFL expect him to return — there’s lots of positivity in Green Bay — he is going back and forth on what he wants.”
On Feb. 10 at the NFL Honors award show (where Rodgers had a very interesting appearance while accepting his second straight NFL MVP award), Rodgers said that his decision was “coming in the near future,” and added that he’s “not going to keep a lot of people waiting.”
But, here we are on March 4, and Rodgers seemingly still isn’t sure what to do. This sounds a lot like the Brett Favre saga in Green Bay before Rodgers became quarterback.
Here’s how the NFL world has reacted to the latest report on Rodgers’ future:
It is truly amazing how much Rodgers has become Favre at the end of his career in Green Bay. History repeating itself.#Packers https://t.co/2klwVUWvCg

He’s STILL getting attention. That’s somewhat genius, like other narcissists.
Aaron Rodgers will be in Green Bay again this year. Not with the #Broncos. https://t.co/G6x59EHIyv
